Milwaukee arena launches Amazon Just Walk Out experience

The Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is now home to Amazon's Just Walk Out cashierless payment technology at a new store called The Market by Michelor Ultra.
It's the first deployment of the check-out free service in the state, according to a press release. The store also offers Amazon's Amazon One, which is a payment option using palm recogniition.
"Amazon's Just Walk Out technology and Amazon One are designed to eliminate checkout lines and enable fans to enjoy a quick and frictionless shopping experience," Dennis Williams, SVP and GM of Fiserv Forum, said in the release. "The Market by Michelob Ultra is another reminder that Fiserv Forum is continuously raising the bar for world-class experiences, and we are thrilled to be the first location in the state to unveil this new shopping experience."
The news comes just under two months after travel convenience store operator Hudson announced it will be opening two stores at Los Angeles International Airport and one, called Hudson Nonstop, featuring the Just Walk Out self-checkout technology.
