Neiman Marcus unveils new Snap. Find. Shop. app

New app will allow customers to interface with all of the retailer's inventory using images the user takes of in-store items.

Dallas-based Neiman Marcus has developed a mobile application that enables shoppers to scan inventory based on photos. Snap. Find. Shop., developed by Slyce, enables customers to search Neiman Marcus inventory. App users can simply snap an image of an item in the store and they then will be instantly provided with all similar items that are currently available at NeimanMarcus.com for sale.

"Today, most online shopping begins with search – either through key words or navigating filters, and as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Visual search removes hurdles, taking you directly from inspiration to gratification," Wanda Gierhart, CMO, Neiman Marcus Group, said in a press release. "In essence, Snap. Find. Shop. is a revolutionary way to service our customers at any time and any place."
