Online shoppers want user ratings systems

February 11, 2008 by James Bickers — Editor, Networld Alliance

Forrester Research recently surveyed 5,000 online shoppers, asking them what they value most from an online experience. The overwhelming majority said they want systems that allow them to rate and review products, and view the ratings of others. Special offers and product comparison tools also fared well. At the bottom of the list: games, quizzes and questionnaires.

The full results of the survey are available in the Forrester report, "User Ratings Top Consumers' Online Wish Lists."
