POS provider payworks launches customer engagement platform

In an effort to help clients advance point of sale engagement, payworks is debuting Engage, a new platform that links payment transaction data to shoppers' profiles,which can help in the development of customer engagement solutions.

The platform brings the transparency of the online retail to the offline shopping experience, according to a company press release.

According to Christian Deger, payworks CEO and co-founder, "payworks is expanding at a rapid pace with our clients building some of the best and fastest growing POS solutions in the industry. The offline shopping experience is ready for improvement and with payworks Engage, we provide the tools needed in order to do so."

The platform also allows businesses to gain valuable insights into shopper behavior.
