An e-commerce performance report reveals 91 percent of retailers expect online revenue growth this year and will be doubling down on the mobile and personalized customer experience.
The H1 2018 E-commerce Performance Indicators and Confidence Report also reveals that, globally, one-third (33 percent) of retailers believe their companies already provide customers a personalized online experience, and almost half (49 percent) plan to add it in the next year.
Of those polled, 80 percent expect revenue from mobile sites and apps to increase, and customer experience topped the list when polled on the most important retail initiative. Last year, CX fell in second place behind re-platforming.
