Adults over the age of 50 were most likely to choose a computer as their favored digital banking solution, but were only slightly less likely to choose a smartphone for most transactions. The majority of this age group never use a tablet, Aite research showed.
Frequency of use of a computer was similar for all age demographics, with similar percentages indicating that they never used a computer or used one only a few times a year.
A tablet was the least favored device among all age demographics, Aite found. Of the three age groups, it was least used by adults 50 and older.
