Sprint, struggling to move upward from its perch as the fourth biggest carrier in the U.S., is gearing up to open 500 new stores nationwide and bringing in a partner to help with the strategy.
Dixons Carphone, a U.K. retailer, will be helping Sprint and sharing the cost, as well as ownership, of new stores, according to a Digital Trends report.
Last year Sprint moved its brand into Radio Shack’s physical locations as part of a similar partnership.
