Stein Mart is installing Amazon Hub lockers in nearly 200 stores, providing consumers an option for Amazon order pick-up and returns.
Starting in early June, Amazon shoppers can choose to pick up orders at the retailer's lockers, for no charge, during store hours, according to a press release. Amazon will provide an emailed barcode that shoppers will scan at the locker to retrieve items.
"We are thrilled to offer this innovative delivery experience to Amazon customers while introducing new shoppers to Stein Mart," Hunt Hawkins, Stein Mart CEO, said in the release. "Customer service and convenience are top priorities at Stein Mart, and the ability to give both to Amazon customers was a big factor in our decision to introduce this program."
