T1Visions to present 'digital store of the future' at RAMP Summit

October 21, 2013

T1Visions, a provider of interactive touchscreen tables and walls, will speak on the future of retail and "the digital store of the future" at the Retail RAMP Summit in Chicago on Oct. 30. In addition to its presentation, T1Visions will exhibit its latest in-store touchscreen technology products for the retail industry — includingT1Visions digital store of the futureinteractive tables, walls, digital signage and software applications — at the show from Oct. 28-30, according to a company announcement.

T1Visions will introduce its newest retail product, tailored specifically to meet the growing demands of retailers. The table includes a 4K ultra HD touchscreen, an integrated card reader and a scanner that enables customers to check in — and allows retailers to track customers' in-store activity. The tabletop features a continuous pane of glass that can be customized to match the desired color palette of retailers to ensure brand-friendly integration with existing merchandising, the company said.

"RAMP is important to T1Visions because the event brings together many industry professionals who are exploring disruptive technologies that are transforming the retail landscape," T1Visions VP of Business Development Marco Ventura said in the announcement. The show features more than 800 retail industry executives in attendance, the company said, and T1Visions joins retailers and sponsors alike who are focused on transitioning the retail industry to a more connected and digitalized experience for their customers.

Ventura's presentation, "The Digital Store of the Future," will discuss four technologies that are augmenting in-store experiences: smart digital signage, interactive surfaces, contextually aware apps and devices and clienteling mobile solutions. Retailers who have already outfitted their brick-and-mortar locations with T1Visions technologies have seen an immediate return on investment, including increased in-store revenue and a reduction in shopper exits due to out-of-stock merchandise, the company said.
