Walmart is launching two new ways for customers to shop, discover and be inspired by its home décor offerings.
One is a 3D virtual shopping tour and the second is a feature called "buy the room," which allows shoppers to buy one of five curated dorm room collections, according to a blog post written by Anthony Soohoo, senior vice president and group general manager, home, U.S. e-commerce.
The two new features arrive four months since Walmart launch a home-shopping focused digital shopping experience on its website.
The 3D tour features a curated apartment holding nearly 70 ideas from Walmart's private label and national brands.
