Walmart has lowered prices at both its store supermarkets and its wholesale club, Sam's Club, on everything from grocery and household products to outdoor living and toys.
"From backyard barbecues and family vacations to pool days and neighborhood gatherings, the savings are designed to help customers and members make the most of the season while spending less on the products they need, want and love most," stated a Walmart press release.
The pricing changes comes just about six months after Walmart announced it was increasing prices due to higher U.S. tariffs on imports.
The summer savings include price drops on cherries (was $11.18, now $5.63) as well as soda brands including Pepsi and Coca-Cola.
"Customers count on Walmart to deliver the value they need every day, and summer is no exception," Julie Barber, executive vice president and chief merchant, Walmart U.S., said in the release.
Approximately 280 million customers and members visit more than 10,900 Walmart stores each week and its websites in 19 countries. With fiscal year 2026 revenue of $713 billion, Walmart employs approximately 2.1 million associates worldwide. Sam's Club operates 600 clubs in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
