Walmart taps Siri voice ordering for grocery pickup, delivery

Walmart is partnering with Apple to let customers order online groceries using their voice on Siri, according to a blog post from three executives, led by Tom Ward, senior vice president, digital operations for Walmart U.S.

Walmart Voice Order, introduced earlier this year, will let customers add items to their online grocery cart just by talking to Apple's Siri voice assistant. 

Customers launch an order by saying "add to Walmart" and then tell the voice assistant which particular items to order. The order will be fulfilled by Walmart personal shoppers, and customers can either pick up the order or have it delivered to their homes.
