Martha Stewart is getting ready to debut Hint, a startup home management company that will tap AI to share homeowner advice.

It's tagline is: "Homeownership without the guesswork."

Stewart is the founder of the multi-channel lifestyle company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, an entrepreneur, author of 102 lifestyle books and Emmy Award-winning television show host.

The startup has $10 million in seed funding from Slow Ventures, a venture capital fund, according to a LinkedIn News report.

Stewart is one of three co-founders. The others are home services veteran Yih-Han Ma, and AI thought leader Kyle Rush, according to a press release.

Ma, co-founder and CEO, previously built and led home services brands within Red Ventures' $10 billion portfolio. Kyle Rush, co-founder and CTO, brings expertise in applied AI and leadership experience from engineering teams at companies including Casper.

Hint will launch sometimes this summer for desktop and iOS mobile users, offering information for managing properties.

The more information a user gives about their home and property the more useful the AI tool will be, according to Slow Ventures.

"The conditions for Hint have been years in the making. Homeowners aren't losing money due to bad decisions, but because of the lack of trusted guidance," Kevin Colleran, co-founder and managing director at Slow Ventures, said in the release. "The gap between what people are spending and what they should be spending is enormous, and nobody has been fighting on their side. This team is changing that, and that kind of clarity at the earliest stage is exactly what we look for."

The company has launched an online waitlist to sign up as a member. The signup requires users to provide a full name and address.

That info provides a personalized response to questions, according to the site.

"Enter your address, and Hint pulls together your property, your climate zone, your soil, your flood risk and details most homeowners never think to look up," states the website, which is still in development.

Apparently, the site has been in pilot mode, with three testimonials on the home page. One reads:

"The thing that was amazing was when you put in your address — it tells you all these little details about your house that you didn't know. I think that's really unique." — Homeowner, Davie, FL.

For those who refer members to join, rewards include a personalized video from Martha with insights about their home and possibly a virtual invite to the Hint launch event at Martha's home this summer.
