Today saw the opening of the EXPO Hall at NRF's 101st Annual Convention & Expo, "Retail's BIG SHOW." There was a lot of news coming out of the 150,000-square-foot space at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, and throughout the day we've been bringing you some highlights of new product and service launches being announced on the floor.
If today's headlines are any indication, "mobile POS" will be the buzz-phrase for retail tech in 2012, with companies large and small offering their tools for untethering store associates from the cash wrap and bringing them out into the aisles, card-swipes and mobile printers in hand.
