Retail Customer Experience launches retail podcast

The weekly wrap-up show will focus on the big events of the week, with food-for-thought for the days ahead.

I'm thrilled to share with you the first episode of the Retail Customer Experience podcast. And if the caliber of both the guests and the conversation in this first episode are a harbinger of what's to come, then we think it's going to be a "must-subscribe" for anyone in the retail industry.

The concept is a Friday afternoon, week-in-review chat with several of our expert bloggers. We have many intelligent and knowledgeable people writing for RCE, so in addition to bringing you their written word, we're going to give you a conversation among three or four of them, every Friday. The format is casual and fun, and the show is designed to be "commute-length" - around 15-20 minutes or so. People are busy, we've all got enough content to consume, but we're going to make this a can't-miss 15 minutes that makes your week and your work better.

On the call this week are the Retail Doctor Bob Phibbs, the Retail Prophet Doug Stephens, and Sheridan Orr from Interrobang Agency. We talk about recent changes at JC Penney, the question of whether women hate Best Buy, and the importance of retail's "third shelf."

You can subscribe to the podcast by copying this link into your podcast client of choice. We'll have it added to the iTunes directory in the next few days. You can also download the mp3 directly, or listen to it in the widget below.

UPDATE: We're on iTunes now, which makes it even easier for users of iOS devices to subscribe and listen.
