Alipay saunters down the runway with Rebecca Minkoff partnership

Fashion retailer Rebecca Minkoff is partnering with Alipay to enable Chinese tourists to make mobile payments with Alipay Wallet at all Rebecca Minkoff locations and online.

Rebecca Minkoff made the announcement September 9 as part of the New York Fashion Week.

"By accepting Alipay, Rebecca Minkoff is able to target the right shopper through our Discover platform to ensure Chinese consumers can enjoy the best experience in-store or online without any language or payments barriers," Souheil Badran, president of Alipay North America, said in a press release.
