Amazon opens cashierless London supermarket

Amazon has gone across the Pond and launched a cashierless supermarket in London, its first outside fo the U.S.

The Amazon Fresh shop is just the first of several stores tapping automated checkout that the giant e-commerce player plans to open in Britain, according to a New York Post report.

Amazon runs 26 U.S.-based cashier-free convenience stores, called Amazon Go stores, and two supermarkets called Amazon Go Grocery.
