Whole Foods is enjoying a 3.6 point increase on the annual Forrester Customer Experience Index, the biggest jump of any brand this year, and it's likely due to Amazon's acquisition and integration with Amazon Prime.
Since buying Whole Foods, Amazon has undertaken a slew of initiatives to drive both its products within the supermarket environment as well as deploy special discounts for Prime members shopping at the supermarket chain. As a Yahoo Finance report noted Amazon even put lockers in supermarket locations for online order pickup.
All the strategy is leading to an improved digital shopping experience, according to the report.
