A new Mood Media study claims music is something consumers love when shopping and when interacting in the banking environment.
A majority of shoppers feel more comfortable having confidential conversations when music is playing in the bank or store, noted the study, and 70 percent of consumers have a more positive perception of a business' image when there is music playing.
"This conclusive study reinforces that correctly designed music can improve the ambiance and customer experience in a variety of business environments, even in those industries not part of traditional retail," Valentina Candeloro, international marketing director at Mood Media, stated in a press release.
