WSS, a footwear and apparel company owned by Foot Locker, is deploying the Aptos One POS, a mobile-first point of sale application.
The solution allows store associates to have any information needed to serve customers, from customer preferences to real-tiome inventory data as well as access to promotional offers, according to a press release.
"Customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction go hand in hand," Sarah Derba, senior director, IT at WSS, said in the release. The technology will be deployed at the brand's 100-plus stores.
"With the software on mobile devices, associates have at their fingertips all the information they need to serve customers optimally, including customer preferences and purchase history, real-time inventory information, access to promotional offers, and much more."
Built on the Aptos One microservices-based platform, Aptos One POS streamlines and enhance in-store experiences and reduces the hardware footprint in each WSS store.
For nearly a decade, WSS has leveraged Aptos software to support its retail operations. This includes the use of Aptos solutions to manage inventory (merchandising), engage customers (POS, CRM), fulfill orders (OMS), audit transactions (sales audit) and analyze business performance (analytics).
"Aptos One POS is extremely user-friendly," Derba said in the release. "It combines advanced functionality with a clean UI and simplified workflows so our associates can be trained on it quickly. Customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction go hand in hand. Our investment in Aptos One is part of our commitment to provide the best experiences for employees and customers."
