The Home Depot's food operations program, in which the home improvement retailer partners with local and regional food vendors to offer food options outside stores across the U.S., is now seeking food truck operators and mobile food vendors to join the program.

"It's about getting inspired, connecting with the community, and maybe grabbing a bite to eat while you're there," the company said in a statement.

Food vendors offer food items and meals, from breakfast to lunch to dinner options.

"Our mission is to provide local food options for our customers that enhance the shopping experience," Richard Goodrich, vice president of merch services at The Home Depot, said in the statement. "Food vendors bring a sense of community and convenience to our stores while creating meaningful connections with customers."
