Lowe's deploys new customer service

Lowe's ATGStores.com now offers Porch.com's installation and assembly services in 25 markets across the country.

The home services platform connects home improvement professionals with homeowners. ATGStores.com is an independent wholly-owned subsidiary of Lowe's, according to an announcement.

Shoppers can now add assembly and installation services, from furniture to plumbing, to online carts and appointment scheduling for the needed service.

"ATGStores.com is committed to addressing consumers' home improvement needs from concept to completion," said ATGStores.com President Michelle Newbery said in the announcement.

"The rules of retail are changing. Customers are looking to get their projects done from start to finish. Together with ATGStores.com, Porch can help provide a world class shopper experience that helps get every project done and every customer satisfied," said Porch CEO and chairman Matt Ehrlichman, "For the past three years, Porch has been focused on building a quality and responsive supply network for homeowners. In order to help realize the potential of every home, we will continue to work with retail partners to integrate services through the Porch Retail Solution."
