DUSSELDORF, Germany — TAGSYS, a provider of item-level RFID infrastructure, announced a new suite of RFID products aimed at apparel retailers.
The system begins at the supply end with an RFID tunnel that tracks and counts products at distribution centers, continues with in-store tools that can scan on-shelf inventories at a rate of 7,000 items in about 20 minutes, and integrates with the POS to provide quick checkout.
The product line also includes the "Magic Mirror," a dressing room mirror that reads the tags of any product brought into close proximity and displays a predetermined visual message.
