Despite reports claiming the omnichannel may soon go the way of the dinosaur, an upcoming online retailer plans to move into the brick-and-mortar realm.
Secondhand apparel seller ThredUp, which has $130 million in funding, has opened its first store, in Texas, with four more in the planning stages, according to a TechCrunch report.
The report stated half of ThredUp's consumers have never shopped secondhand prior to shopping at its online storefront, and the retailer is projected to sell 10 million items this year.
