Endorse, an offers platform for consumer brands, announced yesterday a new capability that gives incentives for shoppers to share their use of brands through social media.
With the Endorse app, which is free on both Android and iOS, users earn cash back when they use offers for products and then upload an image of their receipt.
Endorse rewards points for every receipt uploaded. With the Endorse Social Offer, consumer brands can drive trial and awareness of their products wherever they are sold by rewarding shoppers who try a product and—if they enjoy it—share that same offer with their friends on Facebook, according to the company press release. The first Endorse Social Offer is for Planters NUT-rition Peanut Butter.
"Endorse enables us to tap into the networks of our most loyal Planters fans in an attempt to extend the brand advocacy for the launch of our new-to-the-world Planters NUT-rition Peanut Butter," said Jon Hall, brand manager at Kraft Foods. "As we look to grow the peanut butter category through the lens of a non-traditional consumer segmentation, it’s important that we’re open to new and innovative ways to reach our active adult."
