Tommy Bahama is deploying the Aptos One mobile point-of-sale application to enhance the guest experience, optimize store operations and support growth strategies.

The POS technology will be implemented at more than 160 stores, according to a press release.

Tommy Bahama is part of Tommy Bahama Group, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Oxford Industries, Inc.

With Aptos ONE, Tommy Bahama store associates will have real-time inventory information, advanced omnichannel selling and fulfillment options and guest insights within quick reach, according to the release.

"With just a few clicks, you can make changes across the entire store network or specific stores, giving us the ability to react very quickly while reducing cost and complexity," David Liu Jr., product manager, retail systems and payment technology at Tommy Bahama, said in the release.

"With Aptos ONE being utilized at pop-up shops, transactions and data will flow through to our enterprise systems in real time, which isn't always the case today," Liu added. "We can scale our pop-up activities in a meaningful way, paving the way for boosted revenue streams and the ability to introduce Tommy Bahama to more people who want to 'Live the Island Life.'"
