Consumers won’t have to wait until Thanksgiving and the day after, Black Friday, to jump on retail holiday deals.
That’s because two of the biggest retailers, Wal-Mart and Target, are debuting Black Friday deals long before Black Friday, like two weeks before.
And the retailers are pushing some top brand deals to lure shoppers in earlier than ever, such as Apple TV discounts and Beats devices, according to Business Insider, which notes Target is starting sales efforts this week and next week with a new “10 days of deals,” promotion. Yet the ‘official’ Black Friday will kick off Nov. 23, states BI.
In a separate report BI notes that while Wal-Mart is takingthe same approach, it’s taking a very mobile app strategy as initial Black Friday deals are only available via the retailer’s app. But like Target, Wal-Mart is boasting top brand items such as a deal on the Xbox One and Hitachi HDTV.
