Hilo Hattie Fashion Centers, a Hawaiian retailer of apparel and merchandise, announced that it has completed roll-out of an end-to-end POS and merchandising solution from MICROS.
![]() | "Our goal at Hilo Hattie was to move our merchandising entirely to cloud computing. With the new system from MICROS-Retail, we achieved our goal in just three weeks," stated Bruce Bonar, CIO at Hilo Hattie. "We have already saved tens of thousands of dollars compared to our legacy ERP system. Furthermore, the MICROS-Retail solution's reporting functions are far superior. It gives us a huge boost in productivity. We saw benefits on day one, and expect to achieve full ROI by the end of the 2009 calendar year." Hilo Hattie uses the integrated system for everything from merchandise planning and OTB (Open-to-Buy) to completing the sale in the store. Hilo Hattie had already installed the point-of-sale system. Interfacing with the new merchandising system took only one day. | ![]() |
