An online tool at Wayfair.com that helps shoppers organize home décor and map out a decorating strategy is getting lots of love from consumers.

The Idea Board feature now boasts 4 million users accessing the tool on desktops, via a mobile app and Web platform, and is driving 31 percent of the retailer's mobile app revenue, according to an announcement.

Wayfair consumers earmarked over $3.8 billion in furniture and décor products using the boards in January alone. The boards allow consumers to tag favorite items and organize them according to room, style and color, and also share the information with friends and family.

"When shopping for furniture and décor, customers are often in discovery mode, looking for ideas, inspiration and lots of options," said Steve Oblak, senior VP and general manager. "Wayfair's Idea Boards make it quick and easy for shoppers to tag favorite products and organize them in a way that fits their unique needs, whether by room, product, color or style, and even share their discoveries with friends and family to help with the decision-making process."

The top popular products on the boards include sofas and sectionals, comforters, bedding, and accent chairs, according to the announcement.
