Origin Displays grows in tandem with Long Island drive-thru supermarket chain

April 29, 2013

The last two years have been busy for The Barn, a chain of drive-thru supermarkets on Long Island, N.Y. And as the family-owned chain has grown through acquisitions, Origin Display Group has grown right alongside it, according to a release from Origin.

The partnership began in June 2011 with a large installation of LED cabinets to display menu items, according to a news release, and has grown into a relationship centered around opening locations, managing relationships and graphic maintenance.

Origin has worked on in-store pieces for companies such as Chock Full O'Nuts, Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, Hostess Brands, Sabrett, DiGiorno Pizza and Haagen Daz, the release said, and has produced a range of products, including road-side signs, silo decals, promotional graphics and banners.

Origin Displays Partner Mike Lella said the The Barn is a highly valued client, and he praised his contact person, Aegina Angeliades, for creating a personable work environment. "She is quick to hold us in check, but is also very trusting in our products and services," he said in the release.

Angeliades said Origin does its homework. "Our signage, from roadside to menu boards must express who we are and what we are all about," she said. "Origin makes it their personal mission to accurately represent our concept."
