Philips introduces AmbiScene lighting concept for retail

Hardware Zone: Philips Lighting Singapore announced the introduction of AmbiScene, a flexible lighting concept designed to help retailers create inspiring and meaningful shopping experiences for their customers. AmbiScene can change shop lighting in every conceivable way (direction, timing, contrast, color and tones of white) to address different shopper motivations while supporting brand identity, product presentation and retail promotion. The system has the flexibility to accommodate changing shopper motivations at the touch of a button, creating the ideal ambience for a given audience at a given time. It can also be used to reinforce specific retail themes and concepts, for example, tailoring the lighting to specific seasonal events such as a summer sale or the launch of a new collection. And it can do so for the entire store (chain) or individual parts of the store.
