Retailers beware: if your shoppers can’t find what they need when they need it they will bolt and likely spend at another ecommerce site that makes data gathering easier and faster. In fact, 94 percent of consumers either bolt or just give up if they can't find what they need.
The statistic comes from Salisfy, which asked more than a thousand online shoppers about what plays into purchase decision making when shopping online as part of a new research report, "Cracking the Consumer Code: Product Content Drives Conversion."
"The answers provide clear direction for retailers and brands trying to provide digital consumers the right information, at the right time, to win in the endless aisle," notes an announcement regarding the research results.
