Ikea's omnichannel strategy is expanding to Australia, its latest focal point for providing consumers an online shopping channel.
The online shopping experience should be up and running by the Christmas holiday season, according to a Sydney Morning Herald news report.
The retailer is aiming to get an online portal and fulfilment model in testing, a small store and pickup location and a third-party distribution depot in place by year’s end, according to the report.
Ikea sells online in 13 of the 28 countries in which it operates,according to the report.
