Prysm announces new retail digital display solutions

May 1, 2011

Prysm, a company specializing in dynamic digital signage and kiosk initiatives, today announced its new line of retail solutions. Prysm’s product suite includes the Digital Mannequin, Digital Kiosk and Digital Widescreen, all powered by its Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) platform.

Prysm’s high-definition, stackable display tiles can be organized into any size and shape, enabling retailers to deliver product content, while providing a more engaging and immersive brand experience for customers, according to a press release.

“We’ve seen a huge increase in interest from the world’s most innovative retailers and have quickly realized the need to expand our display solutions and geographic reach of our product to better accommodate customer demand,” said Amit Jain, CEO of Prysm.

Standing seven feet tall, the Digital Mannequin display creates an engaging and immersive brand experience for retail environments and is currently installed in American Eagle Outfitter’s flagship SoHo store in New York, the company said.

Prysm’s newest display platform, the Digital Widescreen is a full-wall solution, displaying everything from seasonal interactive motion graphics to brand imagery. The Digital Widescreen was recently installed in Boston’s Prudential Center, at People’s United Bank, to enhance the customer experience, drive foot traffic and increase branch sales.

Running off of a standard 110V outlet and using up to 75 percent less power than traditional backlit or projection technology-based products, Prysm’s displays enable companies to create brand experiences without the need for special power or cooling infrastructure, according to the release.
