PacketZoom helps Sephora boost mobile connection, image views

Sephora is aiming to boost consumer mobile engagement and sales among international customers with a new launched mobile shopping app and the integration of PacketZoom Mobile Expresslane.

The app, for consumers in Southeast Asia, had been experiencing latency issues. The PacketZoom SDK, integrated in less than an hour, immediately improved mobile performance, according to a press release.

"As pioneers in the use of mobile in beauty we always look for new technologies to enhance our mobile app and benefit our customers," Lorenzo Peracchione, regional director of mobile commerce at Sephora Digital SEA, said in statement. "PacketZoom's simple integration showed immediate improvement in speed up and continuity, allowing our mobile app users to enjoy a smooth experience without interruptions."

Sephora experienced a 10-percent increase in image views and the app now runs two times faster across 3G, LTE and WiFi networks, and 63 percent of sessions with network-driven disconnections were rescued. 

"PacketZoom's in-app networking technology allows us to improve our app speed, reduce disconnects and offer our customers the optimized user experience they deserve and expect," Peracchione said.
