Nordstrom taps Infor solution to boost omnichannel capabilities

Fashion retailer Nordstrom is tapping Infor Rhythm for Commerce to be more nimble, quick and consistent across its sales channels.

The Infor cloud-based point-of-sale system will also let Nordstrom better engage with customers and drive forward greater functionality across channels.

"It's crucial that we have the right technology in place today and in the future to improve our customer experience," Dan Little, CIO at Nordstrom, said in a press release. "We're excited to move forward with Infor's cloud-based platform as it aligns well with our current needs and is an adaptable platform that can continue to evolve to better serve customers."

The Infor Rhythm for Commerce lets associates access product and inventory information quickly and easily, and on any device. The system connects commerce platforms with back-office systems, and allows enterprises to analyze data for crafting stronger customer relationships.
