Boston Business Journal:A retail business may be green and sustainable, but unless those details are clearly communicated to shoppers, the store might not be reaping all of the possible benefits. According to a recent poll conducted by the Global Strategy Group, 87 percent of consumers are more likely to buy products from a retailer that is committed to environmentally friendly practices. Increasingly, retailers that do not communicate their environmental policies will lose to competitors that do.
